Stationary animation
« on: July 02, 2009, 10:55:22 PM »
Hi All,
I've just completed a new car for my AWNUTS train. Can't think of a name for it yet... it could be a pool car, or a piano car....

I've tried to incorporate a number of what I call stationary animations on it... the rope ladder waves dangerously about threatening to jag anything nearby, the bell sways (to the music?), the diver teeters precariously on the diving board, and the water swishes about as if on a small spring underneath it.

Cheers
Rowan
I cut it twice and it's still too short.

Most Excellent...

These later lines outside the UK benefit so much from their more generous loading gauge.

If only we'd kept the 7ft (and a quarter of an inch)

Is that Mr. Smee is see on the diving board? Don't forget to warn him, "Never smile at a crocodile".

Thanks again for the comments all.

I did not know Mr Smee's name, or his origin. I'll add a croc when I can catch one.

Cheers

I need a car like this.... Today I visited my thrift store and for $2 I purchased a Mouse Trap game. It has a diver, board, bathtub and a much more items that I can add to the junk box for future projects.

wdwray, thanks for the comment, after which the piano didn't seem to hit the right note, so thought I'd tune in on your idea....
I picked up a croc at the local thrift store for 0.20 cents (that's Aussie dollars - so about 0.16 US cents !!), contrived a table, eating irons and condiments.. all in readiness for the fateful dive !!
