Gee Ferd, when I saw the title "Winky for sale" a whole 'nother thought came to mind. :o ???
Looks like a great little kit, but I have too many projects undone as it is, you know how it is.  ;)

Too many unfinished projects  :o I think I have enough to last me three more lifetimes. Most of the rest are 1/5 scale - 3.5 / 4.75 and 7.25" gauge locomotives etc... I am only keeping my 7/8ths scale projects.

Cool little wagon - you could build several and have a new twist on a fashion show.

Hi,

Today the postman delivered a motor for the Winky loco. Driver Luigi "Hank" Cioucapone was waiting for it already. Thanks.

Will install it in the loco, as soon there is room in the workshop.

Wow that was fast. Would have been faster if the guy in shipping didn't leave the engine in the warehouse in the first place. Hard to find good help.  >:(  Glad it all arrived safely.

I know, I am slow. But finally got the motor installed into the Brookvill engine.

Might have to built a cab before autumm. The one which is enclosed with the kit looks more or less like a garden shed, intended for cold Canadian climate. Over here, we are victims of global warming. Plenty of warm rain. So an umbrlla for the driver might suffice.

Have Fun

If Hank's cigar gets any closer to that fuel tank, he'll really have a global warming experience. ::)

It may have taken you awhile, but the results are quite worth the wait!

Well, I did not wait. I simply worked on the kit every once in a while. After all it is a pleasure to asemble and paint such a well designed model. At the moment it is barely primed.

I´d estimate 5 - 10 more hours to get it more or less finished. A a matter of fact, these working models change their appearance in course of times. You can always pile some clutter and junk on it.

Meanwhile I mounted the tank out of the way of the smoking Hank-driver. The driver of the morning shift does not smoke, he seems to be a friend of the local Mountain Dew (Moonshine).

Have Fun

Fritz / Juergen
