Just thought that I would throw this out in case some of you have never tried this.

Call up Google and click on Images. Type in your choice (G gauge trains, Graden Railwyas, O gauge 3 rail, etc) and start clicking on images. You get led to some wonderful sites that you might not find otherwise. In the G gauge images there are some amazing links to Japanese G gauge efforts and other large size trains in Japan. It is amazing what you will find. Be carful though, you'll find that you've been sitting at your computer for far longer than you thought as it is a really interesting journey. 8)

The other great image source I use often is flickr.com  and http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Main_Page  The wiki link is to copyright free images - great source of old photos.

Or even careful. Very careful.
I wanted to see if there were any images of a Boer-war loco which had been armoured by using six-inch ropes.  This loco had a distinctive nickname,
so I entered the words "Hairy Mary" into Google images.
You *really* don't want to do that, even though the loco does appear on the third page of offerings.
Seriously, you *really* don't want to do that.

On a more 'appropriate' note... check out the Casey Jnr pictured on MiceChat (a Disneyland chat forum !!)

I cut it twice and it's still too short.

I have lost many evenings doing image searches in Google, Ask.com and Bing.com. The same keywords will take you different directions in each of the search engines, and you can really get lost finding all kinds of stuff out there. :D

For me, it's Wikipedia.  I start reading some random article and just follow links for hours. I even wind up on the German and French versions sometimes.
Conservatives think every day is July 4th; liberals think every day is April 15th.
