Peter Jones items
« on: June 28, 2010, 12:57:43 PM »
Its nearly a year since Peter Jones ( a dear friend and supporter of AWNUTS) passed away and some of his wonderful Locos are now scattered via an auction

I have obtained Sir John Baker and vans, and something Peter was in the middle of...which has been given to me to do something with

I thought you would like to see them

Nice collection and what a great way to remember a friend.  Thanks for sharing the photos.

Some of the Peter Jones 16mm models found a new home in Northern Germany near Hamburg. Unfortunately not in my place.

(The Rocket)

(The Shed)

I never met Peter or had personal contact to him. But he will always be one of my railroad model heroes. I can higly recommend his large book on Garden Railroading. A very good collection of wisdom and pure fun.

Have Fun

A great modeller, and great models.

the "whatisit" clearly started life as more than one Faller Playtrain railcar,
(Playmobil compatible therefore around g-scale)
But that does not answer the question of what it is now...
Some trains are lucky(?) enough to reincarnate rather than die.
